The BCTGM Food Relief caravan departed the Philadelphia AFL-CIO early this afternoon and headed across town to the Tastykake bakery where members of BCTGM Local 492 make snack cakes. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, homeless shelters have experienced a greater need for donations to help sustain those who receive assistance.
