West Coast BCTGM and BIMBO Bakeries Team up for a Day of Community Giving

BCTGM Local 85 wanted to find a meaningful way to support the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services and make sure families and individuals in their community received the food they need during the pandemic.

Partnering with the Bimbo Bakeries USA Sacramento Plant & Northern Imports Western Division, Local 85 members loaded a total of 3,592 pounds of BCTGM-made products into two BIMBO trucks and delivered it to the food bank.

The Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services partners with more than 220 local agencies to distribute food to individuals and families in under-served areas throughout Sacramento County.

“Thank you so very much for your generous donation of bread, pastries and snacks and for making all the arrangements to bring the products to our food campus. This generous donation makes a great impact in our county. All the efforts behind this awesome donation is greatly appreciated.”
