July 2008

  • July 29 - United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals hears “Oral” arguments.  The NLRB seeks enforcement powers.  CBC tries to get charges dismissed and the BCTGM attempts to get five workers returned to work.

 

November 2008

  • November 14 - THE UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS CONFIRMS THE CONVICTION OF CBC FOR VIOLATING FEDERAL LAWS AND COMITTING WIDESPREAD VIOLATIONS OF WORKERS RIGHTS TO JOIN THE BCTGM

 

December 2008

  • December 3 - BCTGM Union Supporters Bill Lawhorn and Russ Teegardin return to work at CBC. Read the BCTGM Press Release.

  • December 12 - Consolidated Biscuit Company post United States National Labor Relations Board Notice to Employees enforced by Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals Judgment.

  • December 2008 through February 2009 - Managers and Supervisors of Consolidated Biscuit Company (CBC) continue to violate National Labor Relations ACT and the US Sixth Circuit Court Judgment.
