Solidarity remains steadfast on the Local 218 Frito Lay strike line outside the plant in Topeka, Kansas as the fight for a fair contract enters its third week. The strike continues to gain national attention and today, U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders commended the striking Local 218 members for their courage and called out Frito Lay for its mistreatment of the hardworking union workers.
With community support for the striking union members very high, workers remain strong in their resolve. Here are some of the brave Local 218 members on Day 12 of the Frito Lay strike.
