BCTGM Endorses Osborn for Senate

The BCTGM International Union announced that it is endorsing Dan Osborn for election to the U.S. Senate representing Nebraska in the 2026 elections.

β€œThe BCTGM is proud to support brother Osborn in his effort to bring a worker’s perspective to the U.S. Senate,” BCTGM International President Anthony Shelton said.

Osborn is a former member of BCTGM Local 50G in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a long-time mechanic at the Kellogg Company facility in Omaha. In 2021, as President of Local 50G, Osborn helped lead a nationwide strike against Kellogg’s that defeated the Company’s two-tier wage system and included a guarantee that no Kellogg plant would be closed before 2026.

β€œBrother Osborn has proven that he is a true trade unionist. Now he is showing that his working families-centered platform strikes a chord with Nebraska voters. He is fighting to keep factories open in Nebraska. He is calling for commonsense solutions to unfair trade deals and economic policy that leaves workers behind. And he understands that America’s success lies in in the people that work hard each and every day,” Shelton concluded.
