BCTGM Local 37 Members at Jon Donaire Overwhelmingly Reject Contract Proposal; Strike Continues

On December 17, members of the BCTGM Local 37 (Los Angeles, Calif.) on strike against Rich Products-owned Jon Donaire Desserts plant in Sante Fe, Calif. voted overwhelmingly to reject the companyโ€™s proposal on a new collective bargaining agreement. The strike, which began on November 3, 2021, continues.

Reflecting on the vote, BCTGM International President Anthony Shelton stated, โ€œThe members have spoken. The strike continues. The International Union will continue to provide full support to our striking Local 37 members at Jon Donaire.

โ€œThe BCTGM is grateful for the outpouring of support shown to striking members at Jon Donaire. Solidarity is critical to this fight.โ€
