America’s largest one-day food drive is Saturday, May 14. Help your letter carriers #StampOutHunger!

The 24th AnnucalΒ Letter Carriers’ ( NALC) Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive

  • Last year’s drive collected more than 70 million pounds of non-perishable food.

  • This is the 24th annual drive.

  • All food collected stays local.

For nearly a quarter century, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has led an extraordinary effort to end hunger in America through its β€œStamp Out Hunger Food Drive.” This is the largest one-day food drive in the nation.

Throughout the years, the BCTGM has been proud to support the NALC campaign because we firmly believe that hunger in America is a crisis that can and must be eradicated. Β Please help support your local community by placingΒ a bag of unopened, non-perishable food next to yourΒ mailbox on Saturday, May 14TH Β for your letter carrier Β to pick up.Β  Once collected, the food is taken back to the postal station, sorted and delivered by union volunteers to area food banks or local food pantries for needy families.
