People are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of nutrition and how healthy pet foods can affect overall well-being of their pets.  So why not make sure pets are consuming union-made animal foods and treats? BCTGM members proudly produce pet products including Milk Bone and a wide variety of Nestlé Purina products.

Milk Bone

BCTGM Local 36G members in Buffalo, N.Y. produce all brands of Milk Bone products at the company’s only factory in Buffalo.  BCTGM made dog treats include all sizes and flavors of the traditional Milk Bone dog biscuits as well as other assorted Milk Bone branded dog treats including Flavor Snacks, Healthy Favorites, Soft and Chewy Dog Snacks, Crunchy Dog Treats and Mar-O-Snacks Dog Snacks.

Nestlé Purina PetCare Company

BCTGM Local 366G Nestle Purina Pet Care, Oklahoma City, Okla./BCTGM Local 42, Fairburn, Ga.

Union made products include Purina Beneful brand dog foods, Purina Dog Chow, Purina Cat Chow, Friskies products, ONE Products, ProPlan, ONE Shreds, Fit-n-Trim. The BCTGM facilitites produce approximately 30 different Nestlé Purina products.

The Oklahoma City plant produces 1,500 tons of dog food per day and maintains an excellent safety record. Additionally, none of the union made pet food products have been recalled due to contamination – as many other pet products have been in recent years.

Local 366G President Larry Flowers notes that the products produced by union members help make the company’s brands to be America’s leading pet foods. Flowers notes that the union made products from Oklahoma City and Fairburn are, “Proudly UNION MADE!”
