Karrie Setters, Western Region Vice President

Karrie Setters was elected to fill the position of BCTGM Western Region International Vice President at the 42nd Constitutional Convention on July 29, 2026.

Setters was appointed to serve as a Western Region International Representative by International President Anthony Shelton on January 1, 2021.

Prior to her International Staff appointment, Setters served as the Financial Secretary-Treasurer of BCTGM Local 83 in Buena Park, Calif.

Setters began her career with BCTGM Local 83 in October 1999 as a Secretary/Office Manager. When the Nabisco bakery in Buena Park closed, the local reduced her hours. To make up the lost time, she was hired to work part-time for Local 37 (Los Angeles, Calif.).

Several years later, once Local 83 was back on solid footing, Setters returned to be the full-time office manager. In April 2008, Setters became the Local 83 Financial Secretary Treasurer.
