Roger Miller, East-Central Region Vice President

Roger Miller was reelected East-Central Region International Vice President by delegates to the 41st BCTGM Constitutional Convention on July 29, 2022.

 

Miller was elected to fill the position of East-Central Region International Vice President at the 106th session of the General Executive Board (GEB) in San Antonio, Texas, effective April 1, 2019.

 

Miller, former Local 33G (Louisville, Ky.) President, was appointed by International President David Durkee to serve as an International Representative in the East-Central Region on June 1, 2015.

 

Miller joined the union in June 1982 when he was hired as a production operator at the General Mills plant. Miller bid to maintenance mechanic in 1984 and to electrician in 1987, both positions required a four-year apprenticeship. In 1991, Miller was elected as Maintenance Labor Relations Officer. In 1993, he was appointed as Vice President of Local 33G and in 1995 he was elected as President of the Local โ€“ a position he served until he was appointed by President Durkee to serve as an International Representative.
