BCTGM Stands in SOLIDARITY with 2024 Biden-Harris Ticket

SOLIDARITY was the theme yesterday as President Biden made a visit to the AFL-CIO Executive Council (which BCTGM International President Anthony Shelton sits on) to reaffirm his commitment to Union workers and their families.

In the last four years, BCTGM members have benefited greatly from the Presidentโ€™s commitment to collective bargaining and pension reform. President Bidenโ€™s public support for Kellogg workers on strike in 2021 helped BCTGM members win that strike.

In addition, thanks to Bidenโ€™s 2021 American Rescue Plan, over 100,000 BCTGM retirees had their pensions saved and can now retire with dignity.

The BCTGMโ€™s wins have always been rooted in unwavering SOLIDARITYโ€”โ€œfinding out who our friends areโ€ and sticking together through tough fights. The President has been a proven and important friend not just to Laborโ€”but the BCTGM specifically.

We are proud to join the AFL-CIO Executive Council in standing in SOLIDARITY with the 2024 Biden-Harris ticket.
