U.S. House to Vote on Pension Funding TOMORROW

On Wednesday, July 24, the full U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote on The Rehabilitation for Multiemployer Pensions Act (H.R. 397), which strengthens pension plans and avoids retiree benefit reductions through long-term, low-interest loans to eligible plans such as the B&C Fund.

It is critical that all BCTGM members, retirees together with families and friends, urge their U.S. Representatives to vote for H.R. 397: Take Action from the BCTGM E-Activist Center here.

This legislation is important to ALL BCTGM members with collectively bargained pensions.

Please continue to send emails to your U.S. Representatives urging passage of this vital legislation! Speaking collectively from every corner of this country – we can make sure our voices are heard and this legislation is passed!
