On December 17, members of the BCTGM Local 37 (Los Angeles, Calif.) on strike against Rich Products-owned Jon Donaire Desserts plant in Sante Fe, Calif. voted overwhelmingly to reject the company’s proposal on a new collective bargaining agreement. The strike, which began on November 3, 2021, continues.

Reflecting on the vote, BCTGM International President Anthony Shelton stated, “The members have spoken. The strike continues. The International Union will continue to provide full support to our striking Local 37 members at Jon Donaire.


“The BCTGM is grateful for the outpouring of support shown to striking members at Jon Donaire. Solidarity is critical to this fight.”
