Dannon Workers Ratify First Contract

On October 6, 2008, an overwhelming majority of the workers at the Dannon facility in Minster, Ohio voted to ratify their first collective bargaining agreement as members of BCTGM Local 19.

Some of the highlights of the agreement include:

  • Seniority rights, arbitration procedure,

  • Increase in company's 401k contributions

  • Annual pay increases

  • Annual performance bonuses

  • Reduced health insurance costs

  • Shoe and tool allowance
